PARTS of Labasa experienced water disruptions after a water main burst at the Delailabasa reservoir yesterday.
As a result, about 400 consumers in Delailabasa were affected.
Water Authority of Fiji spokesman Maika Nagalu said a production team was sent to carry out maintenance work in the area.
"Our production team is now fixing the burst pipe and we hope to restore supply this afternoon," he said yesterday morning.
"We are advising people to store water and use it wisely."
Resident Melaia Sau said her children were late to school as a result of the water problem.
"I had to take my children to my sister's place in town to shower because there was no water at home," she said.
"We hope water will be restored soon."
The Tavutikau reservoir in Savusavu also experienced a low supply level yesterday.
Mr Nagalu said a group of workers attended to the problem and water was expected to be restored this morning.
