SAVE the Children Fiji will have an advocacy booth at the FIJI Showcase which starts today.
The organisation will advocate on promoting children's rights and responses to their needs by facilitating improvements that enable children to become responsible citizens.
It will also advocate on strengthening the delivery of basic services for children.
SC Fiji CEO Chandra Shekhar said the organisation would promote awareness of children's rights and values at all levels and mobilise resources to address children's diverse needs.
Mr Shekhar said SC Fiji would also collect educational items for children attending early childhood education centres in the country under its Vuli Taumada Shishak project.
"These centres, although built, still need basic educational tools such as story books, play-dough, crayons, toys and other educational items," he said.
Save the Children Fiji set up the collection booth in partnership with the Total Event Company.
