GLOBALISATION of trade has led to Customs organisations around the world being faced with new and unprecedented challenges.
To meet challenges in the region, the Oceania Customs Organisation (OSO) has organised a two-week workshop in Nadi with a view to raise standards and keep pace with modern advancements.
"It must be recognised at the outset that the environment in which contemporary Customs agencies operate is constantly changing and we need to keep pace with these developments," said the acting head of the OCO Secretariat Selwa Nandan.
