ONLY one day to go until Showcase and the Suva Vodafone arena is buzzing with preparations for the much anticipated event.
Organiser and Total Event Company director, Loretta Jackson, said everything was now in place for the nine days of family fun, local and international performances, carnival rides, food and shopping.
"The entertainment at FIJI Showcase 2012 promises to live up to and exceed visitors' expectations."
Entertainers will be performing more than 128 different shows over the duration of the showcase with local dance and signing groups also ready to perform.
Home grown entertainers will be part of the VITIFM SIMBA show and Ms Jackson said the show would be something to look forward to for fans of live music.
Well-known names like Savuto Vakadewavosa, Waikatakata Vure ni Delai Nuku Vula, Malumu ni Tobu kei Naivaukura and the Covenant Group will be in action.
Total Event also promises a not-to-be-missed event where the TONGAN YOUNG FIVE band will also be at the showcase.
The band whose members' ages range from five to 15 recently wowed the crowd at the flood appeal concert organised by the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation in Suva.
Ticket prices range from $4 for adults and $3 for children under 12 years.
