VILLAGERS from five communities in Ba Province will take part in a four-day training program on climate change and disaster risk management.

The program is a combined effort of government and non-government organisations.

The villagers from Toge, Nasolo, Soweri, Koronubu and Nailaga will learn about climate change.

The objective of the program is to raise awareness about climate change and its effects on water, sanitation and hygiene and waterways in their communities.

About 100 participants have registered for the workshop from village headmen, village committees, retired civil servants, village health workers, the senior education officer, the divisional health inspector, and the provincial administrators.
