A MACUATA chief has pleaded with the provincial office to clarify qoliqoli boundaries between the districts of Udu and Tawake in Cakaudrove.

The Tui Udu, Ratu Emori Waqanivalu, told the Macuata Provincial Council meeting yesterday the villagers of Tawake District had been fishing in the qoliqoli of Udu.

He said there was confusion among the villagers of the districts over the qoliqoli boundaries which has led to Tawake villagers fishing in the qoliqoli of Udu.

Ratu Emori said he visited the Tawake district to inform villagers about the qoliqoli boundaries and that they were fishing in Udu's qoliqoli.
