THE flooding in the Western Division has affected development projects planned for Ba Province this year.
Ba Provincial Council chairman Ratu Meli Saukuru said the floods affected the livelihoods of many after swamping more than 15 villages.
Ratu Meli said the council was working closely with the government and other stakeholders to rebuild people's lives.
He said all development proposals planned last year had been shelved for now.
"All the development proposals submitted during the Ba Province tikina meetings will be put on hold," Ratu Meli said.
