A CHINESE interpreter will be present at the hearing of six nationals facing gambling related charges.
Yesterday, five of the six appeared before Suva Magistrate Yohan Liyanage.
Lum Moon Woot, Lo On, Liao Dong, Jinhui Lin, Guo Xi and Zhu Xhong Knang are charged with a count each of gaming without a licence and a second count of engaging in gaming activity without a licence.
Mr Liyanage set a hearing date for July 30 and 31.
He also issued a bench warrant for the fourth accused who was not present in court.
Mr Liyanage said he had made arrangements with the court registry for a Chinese interpreter to be present at the trial.
