COMMISSIONER Northern Lieutenant Colonel Ilai Moceica reminded students in a parade that discipline, commitment and hard work would help them achieve their goals.

Speaking at the All Saints Secondary School passing-out parade in Labasa yesterday, Lt-Col Moceica said the program helped students improve discipline.

He told the students that if they encountered challenges in life, discipline would take them forward.

"You are the pride of Macuata. You need to go out there and shape Vanua Levu and I encourage you to do that," Lt-Col Moceica said.

"You have the power to decide your destination. Grasp what you have learnt today and have discipline because that will help you become what you desire," he said.

Lt-Col Moceica also pleaded with parents at the parade to help their children achieve their dreams.

He told parents that their guidance and advice would help them get through life and enable them to face challenges.

Cadet and Form Five student Salote Tiko said the training instilled in her a sense of discipline.
