THE Fiji Police Force team stole the show in the opening tournament of the 2012 Triathlon Business House Series competition on Saturday.

The law enforcers took first place in the men's and women's category of the super sprint (400 metres swim, 10 kilometres, 2.5km run).

The Police men's team finished their race in 38 minutes 57 seconds while their women's team clocked 36 minutes and 15 seconds.

In the team sprints event (750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run), Marist Brothers High School (MBHS) team won the men's division while Body Life Gym took the women's division.

MBHS and Body Life Gym finished their race in 1 hour, 19minutes and 18seconds and 1hr 38min 37sec, respectively.

In the individual super sprint event, Isikeli Rawlinson finished first with 39 minutes 25seconds followed by Lui Pene with 40min 38sec.

Kelepi Piukala finished third with a time of 40min 56sec while newcomer Leon Jang from BSP finished fourth with 54min 10sec after much difficulty with his bike.

In the individual sprint, Petero Manoa grabbed the first place with 1hour 17 minutes 53seconds followed by Nau Dakuliga won the women's grade with 1 hr 23 min 33sec.
