THE Suva soccer side will be out to continue its unbeaten run when they face Lautoka in a Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League fixture today.
The side resumed training on Monday and coach Gurjeet Singh said they would not take the Lautoka side lightly.
"Training began this week and it was good to see all players were turning up for training," Singh said.
"We are taking Lautoka very seriously even though they were affected by the recent floods, they are a good side and can beat any team on their day," he said.
But he is cautious and will be tactical when his team takes to the field today.
"I think one week of training for such an important fixture is not enough."
"We were also affected by the recent bad weather spell and had stopped training for a while and match fitness is one concern in the side."
"We will try and do with whatever we have done (training ) and find out Lautoka's weaknesses in the early stages of the game and try and use them to our advantage," Singh said.
Both cities are also in the same pool for the upcoming Vodafone Fiji FACT tournament.
The clash of the cities match will kick off at 3pm at Lautoka's Churchill Park.
