A MAN who pleaded guilty to a count of robbery with violence will know his fate on Friday.
Ledua Tukai appeared before High Court judge Justice Salesi Temo in Suva yesterday.
While Mr Tukai had earlier pleaded guilty to the charge, he disagreed with parts of the summary of facts.
The robbery occurred on May 9 in 2008.
Justice Temo found Mr Tukai guilty as charged yesterday and convicted him accordingly.
The court heard that Mr Tukai had four previous convictions.
In mitigation, Mr Tukai asked the court for a non-custodial sentence.
He said he was in a de facto relationship, he had two children aged two and three years, and he had been in remand for 11 months.
Justice Temo adjourned the case to April 13 for sentencing.
