THE Fiji Triathlon Association will start their series of business house competition with a tournament this Saturday at the Olympic Pool in Suva.
The association has six business house competitions planned for this year, with the opening tournament to serve as the selection of the national team for the New Caledonia Triathlon Championships to be held next month.
Fiji will be sending two athletes to this event and will name the squad by the end of this month.
Association president Andrew Pene said the attendance at this Saturday's event was already affected by the bad weather that wrecked most parts of the western division.
"The attendance at event one is already affected by a lot of the participating teams being engaged with flood relief works in the west," he said.
