ORGANISERS of the Carpenters Fiji Limited Miss World Fiji 2012 pageant are overwhelmed by the support and sponsorship bids from leading businesses in Fiji and abroad.
National director Andy Blake said he was humbled by the kind gestures and support shown towards the pageant.
"Being our inaugural event, we are overwhelmed at the support shown by the business in Fiji and abroad," Mr Blake said.
"I believe that it is the importance of having well established brands that allows a 'new' event to be of inclusion on the Fiji social calendar as well as allowing us as producers in executing a great event."
The line-up of Miss World Fiji finalists will be officially introduced to sponsors and invited guests on April 13.
Meanwhile, Tavarua Island will host a photoshoot with official event photographer from Imagine South Pacific, Shiri Ram.
Tavarua Island director Rick Isbell said he was excited to be part of the event and looked forward to hosting the Carpenters Fiji Limited Miss World Fiji 2012 finalists.
The resort has sponsored the Miss Beach Beauty which will be judged by supermodel Rachel Hunter.
Fashion designer Hupfeld Hoerder, former model Zelda Thomas-Paige and former Olympic swimmer Carl Probert will be part of the judging panel alongside the international line-up to select Fiji's representative to Miss World 2012 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, on August 18.
