SIX containers of food rations are expected to arrive into the country from Sydney, Australia.
The containers were sent by Yaadein Vision International to flood-affected victims in the West. Yaadein Vision Fiji director Lorima Voravora said they had given food packs to victims in Drasa, Vitogo, Naviyago and areas between Lautoka and Nadi. He said the new supply would first be handed over to the Commissioner Western's Office.
The group comprising of former Fiji citizens living in different parts of the world have come together to offer their help to those who were displaced from their homes in the recent floods.
Mr Voravora said they would commence with distribution once the containers arrived from Australia.
Another arm of the group, Pacific Vision has also been assisting in the distribution of food supplies.
Pacific Vision representative Anand Narayan said they have been distributing rations with the assistance of the RFMF.
