A family on Taveuni has raised concerns over the delay of a post mortem examination on their son who has been kept at the hospital mortuary since March 27.
Nilesh Kumar, whose brother is believed to have committed suicide, said they had grown tired of waiting for police to go ahead with post mortem examination.
Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said the pathologist was stuck in the Western Division last week as a result of the flood. "Taveuni is not the only case as we have similar cases in Kadavu and Levuka for the pathologist to attend," she said.
