Fault stops flight

Update: 7:13PM PACIFIC Sun has fixed the mechanical fault that prevented the temporarily leased Air Chathams, Convair 580 aircraft from flying to Labasa.

A statement said the airline would operate a supplementary Labasa service tomorrow and would clear any passenger backlog to Labasa.

"We apologise to our customers, particular those travelling to and from Labasa for the disruptions to their travel plans yesterday," the statement said.
