Update: 11:42PM THE PACIFIC Vision Group was one of the first non-governmental organisations to assist flood victims.

The group start distributing food rations on Monday to flood-affected areas in Lautoka and Nadi. The distribution was led by Anand Narayan, Joyti Kumar and assisted by the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and the divisional education team.

Meanwhile, at least, 100 families living in Yalalevu, Ba, will have bread and butter for breakfast from tomorrow.

The Liberty Baptist Church of Namosau, Ba, said it would give out bread and butter to these families.

They plan to offer breakfast for a few days.
