Update: 12:59PM THE United Kingdom based mining and exploration company, River Diamonds, will discuss the proposal of changing its name to Vatukoula Gold Mines during its annual general meeting next week.
The company that owns Vatukoula Gold Mines is listed on the London Stock Exchange and has operations in Sierra Leone and Brazil.
The company gained full ownership of the Vatukoula gold mines earlier this year from Westech Gold.
In its AGM notice sent to all shareholders, apart from the name change, shareholders would also discuss the re-appointment of the companys six directors as well as the companys financial status.
