Like all couples who share a unique love, Bernadette Betty Rokotuinasau and Deve Saqacala were no exception as they made clear their vows to honour, cherish and love each other till death.
Before family and friends, the young couple wed at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Nadera on May 17 this year.
Both were equally excited and eager to spend the rest of their lives together.
With the expectant bride carrying their first born daughter Adi Seinimili Sokula Sagacala at the time, Bernadette and Deve were simply a match made in heaven.
Dressed in a neat tuxedo with a blue and silver matching tie, the groom's outfit complemented the bride's stunning figure-hugging high waist dress.
The newly weds were overwhelmed and happy to begin their new life together.
The reception was held at the Fiji College of Advanced Education hall in Nasinu and with food and drinks galore, family and friends danced and enjoyed the afternoon away celebrating the auspicious occasion.
The uniqueness of the wedding not only lies in the fact that true love does exist but that race and religion is no barrier.
Deve is originally from Vagadaci in Levuka while Bernadette is of Fijian and Rotuman decent from Waivou in Rewa and Itu'tiu in Rotuma.
While their wedding may not be as lavish and extravagant as the queens and kings overseas, the happily married couple will undoubtedly live their lives happy ever after.
