CLIMATE change, its causes and consequences will be discussed and analysed this weekend by church leaders from around the world and the Pacific.
Members of the World Council of Churches will meet with the Pacific Conference of Churches today at the Novotel Hotel in Nadi.
The consequences of nuclear testing will be part of the discussion.
WCC general secretary Reverend Dr Samuel Kobia will lead the delegation.
PCC general secretary Fe'iloakitau Kaho Tevi said their aim was to have a voice on climate change issues on a global scale.
"We are raising awareness on this and trying to get more churches on board," he said.
"Most of them have understood what the issue is about.
