FORMER finance minister Berenado Vunibobo is Fiji's next United Nations permanent representative, replacing Isikia Savua.

Ratu Finau Mara has been appointed ambassador to the United States based in Washington. He replaces Jesoni Vitusagavulu.

"The two men will be assigned for three years and are yet to go through attachments at the Foreign Affairs Office," said interim Foreign Minister Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.
