COLONIAL National Bank's customers in Lautoka will now be able to attend to their banking needs on Saturdays with the launch of Saturday banking.
The bank will launch its Saturday initiative at it's Lautoka branch this Saturday.
General Manger John Harper said the decision to bring this service to the only city in the West followed the success of Saturday Banking at Colonial National Bank's Suva Central, Nadi and Centrepoint branches.
"The introduction of Saturday banking in Lautoka demonstrates our continuing efforts to provide quality and convenient customer service to our customers," Mr Harper said.
Mr Harper said as with Colonial National Bank's Suva Central, Nadi and Centrepoint branches, the Lautoka branch will provide full banking services on Saturday from 9am to 1pm. The services will include lending, foreign exchange and normal transactions.
Earlier this month, the bank announced a further reduction in home loan and business banking base rates by another 50 basis points. The floating rate for its Rate Saver Personal and Investment Home Loans will fall from 11.50 per cent per annum to 11 per cent, and its Business Banking base rate from 11.20 per cent to 10.70 per cent.
