Update: 11.15am Army commander and coup leader Voreqe Bainimarama has been sworn in as Fiji's interim prime minister.
The commander took his oath of office at Government House in front of newly restored president, Ratu Josefa Iloilo at 11.10am, watched by a small crowd, mainly army officers and media representatives.
Commander Bainimarama is expected to hold a press conference later today at Queen Elizabeth Barracks where he will make a number of announcements, including the line-up of his interim cabinet.
