Fiji Times allowed to resume publication

Update: 11.35AM The Republic of Fiji Military Forces has allowed Fiji Times Limited to resume publication without any interference from soldiers.

The newspaper suspended publication on Tuesday night after refusing a military demand to check news content to ensure the paper did not publish any anti-military material.

The newspaper published an afternoon edition today, and normal daily publications resume from tomorrow.
