A police officer who interviewed one of the four men allegedly involved in the alleged murder of a 21-year-old man in Nakasi informed the High Court yesterday that he noticed injuries on the victim's face.

Police Corporal Amani Bosenawai said the first accused, Alipate Naimoso admitted in his caution interview that he allegedly punched the victim.

Mr Bosenawai said when the accused entered the interview room, he noticed fear on his face.

When questioned by State counsel Meli Vosawale, as to how he figured out the accused's expression, the prosecution witness said it was obvious as the accused's action was not stable when he entered the interview room.

He said Mr Naimoso looked restless.

Epeli Tucila, Saimone Tucila Sr, Alipate Naimoso and Saimone Tucila Jr are charged with one count of murder each.

The four allegedly committed the offence in February 2016.

The four are standing trial before Justice Riyaz Hamza for the alleged offence.

The trial continues today.
