SOCIAL Democratic Liberal Party leader Sitiveni Rabuka has ironed out grievances with some of his concerned party members.

In a meeting last week, he had a talanoa session with a group of concerned members on party issues bothering them. "At the end of our talanoa session, we amicably agreed the party is paramount over individual interest, and we all agreed and committed to unity to win the election, and form the next government after the general election," Mr Rabuka said.

He also met with SODELPA MPs through a joint party caucus talanoa session particularly with the leader of the Opposition.

"We resolved all outstanding issues. We agreed that we should all put behind our differences and move forward, in a united front.

"We all agreed that the interest of the nation and the party is paramount over individual interests and any small differences that we may have. This is my dream for a united team.

"With the current understanding and respect for one another, based on consensus building, we are all ready to move forward together, towards the election. I am proud and confident to tell you that we are all united, we have put aside our differences, and are moving forward together for the 2018 General Election."
