Nawaka 7s: Tuva crowned U19 champs

Update: 6:09PM THE Tuva under 19 7s team was crowned the new winner of the Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s U19 title defeating last year's champion Ratu Filise 12-7 at Nadi's Prince Charles park.

Inspired by the inclusion of four St John College students from Cawaci, Ovalau, the side played their hearts out to win the too award.

Flyer Iowane Tuiwasale was the star for his team scoring the winning try in the second spell .

The side though lost some key players that won the Uprising Youth 7s but failed to deter the spirit of the other boys to win top award.

Tuva downed host team Nawaka in the semi final while Ratu Filise defeated Saunivalu in the other semi final.
