MOU to allow Fijian professionals to serve in Kiribati

Update: 12:19PM AN initiative that will allow Fijian professionals to serve in Kiribati will result from the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two governments today.

The MOU on the Fiji Volunteer Services (FVS) in Kiribati will be signed between Ministry of Employment permanent secretary Salaseini Daunabuna and Kiribati High Commissioner Reteta Rimo today.

FVS is an initiative formed between Fiji and other countries that enables nation building and the participation of Fijians in programs that will bring about civic pride and patriotism on the part of individuals who are involved.

These include work in sectors such as education, health and other essential services.
