Malomalo joins interhash

THE Malolo Hash House Harriers is the newest hash chapter joining the Nadi Hash House Harriers to be part of Fiji Interhash 2018 committee.

The hash master for Malolo Hash is Sushil Narayan and grand master Sanjesh Prasad (Dodi)

They have been running for the past three months and got interested after learning about the Fiji Interhash 2018 to be held in Nadi in May.

Fiji Interhash 2018 executive chairman Doctor Ram Raju said preparations for one of the biggest sporting events in Nadi was in progress with support from many stakeholders.

"So far close to 2000 have registered from all over the world for the four-day event from May 24-27," Dr Raju said.

"Ten different run sites have been marked in the countryside, stretching from Olosara in Sigatoka to Lomolomo, Lautoka.

"Malolo Hash will be in charge of various run sites including Navu and Malolo areas and Nadi Hash who is the organiser of Interhash 2018 is very grateful for their support and interest.

"We hope more hash chapters are formed in Fiji in due course to commemorate the historical event that has come to the country for the first time.

"This is the 21st anniversary of interhash and we are confident of pulling off one the best ever interhash events"

"The interhash will start with the Red Dress Charity Run in Lautoka on May 24.
