RETAIL giants Jack's of Fiji have opened a new sportswear shop in Lautoka — making it their third outlet in the Sugar City.

The store situated along Vitogo Pde — one of the city's busiest thoroughfares — attracted hundreds of people at its official opening event yesterday.

According to the company, the store boasts a wide variety of sports gear including items from local sporting brand Qaqa, internationally renowned Adidas and Australian footwear brand Sfida.

Jacks Group of Companies CEO Bhavin Khatri said they were proud of their new establishment.

"We're excited to offer Lautoka a great location for sportswear with the Jack's Sports Store," Mr Khatri said.

"The store carries an assortment of sports and outdoor apparel, equipment and accessories and will become a real destination for athletes and outdoor enthusiasts in the local community."

The Nadi Aviators Rugby team were present at the opening of the store as chief guests.
