Mere Naleba
Wednesday, February 14, 2018

THE Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama, yesterday took to social media, asking Fijians to take heed of warnings regarding Tropical Cyclone Gita from relevant stakeholders.

Mr Bainimarama, on his official Twitter account, said Fijians in the storm's projected path, especially Southern Lau Group are to take heed of the warning and prepare for TC Gita as it was gaining strength.

Mr Bainimarama in his Tweet also said "Tonga is in our prayers" in the wake of TC Gita, the strongest cyclone to ever strike Fiji's island neighbour.

He ended his tweet with the hashtag #PrayforFiji.
