TILIVA 7s will grow bigger in future, says tournament official Epeli Vakatawa.

The tournament venue's drainage system and accommodation for the teams are being looked at to make it more comfortable for the teams competing in the tournament in April.

Vakatawa said the top 10 finishers in this year's tournament would get a portion from $12,600.

"While the organisers are still looking for a major sponsor for the tournament, BLK will be the official apparel providers for the 2018 tournament and I thank BLK for their kind contribution," he said.

"We have $12,600 as total prizemoney, which would be up for grabs and the entry fee for the teams would be $500 per team.

"We had Ratu Filise from Sigatoka in Nadroga who came to compete in the tournament.

"We managed to provide the Tiliva District School with the solar facilities from the success of last year's tournament since it is a boarding school for students from Year 1 to Year 8.

"The proceedings from the competition were also used in the building of new teachers' quarters and dining hall for the students."

The tournament will be played from April 26-27 at the Tiliva District School ground.

"We can confirm that the first 10 teams' accommodation will be provided and for the other teams we will have to discuss where they would be accommodated in the two days of the tournament.

"While we are having the housing development in the village, we are also considering hosting the annual event and accommodating all teams and visitors."
