Rasta's 'star' loves Fijian hospitality

WORLD Rugby referee Rasta Rasivhenge is already a star.

He is the darling of Fijians especially this weekend in the 2018 Mana Whey Coral Coast Sevens.

But the adage 'Behind every successful man is a strong woman' stands true for this South Africa Australian-based man.

While Fijians stop him everywhere at Lawaqa Park, little did that they know this star's angel.

She is Anna-Lena Ullrich.

This is her first time to Fiji and one of the getaways her South African soulmate has taken her to.

"I love Fiji even though this is my first time here. The people are friendly," Ullrich said.

"There is nothing much to know about me. I am originally from Germany and we met in a bar in Cape Town 10 months where I went to work," she said.

"Our relationship was not what we first talked about when we met, but I remember that firstly it was the connection that we had. I was looking at him and like 'ahh he is a cute guy and I like him.

"I am not into rugby at all and when I met him, I did not know what was going on and who he is. I found out after a while. And that's how I was introduced into rugby.

"I am a fashion stylist and I work on photo designs and that's how I went to Cape Town because there were a lot of photo productions there.

"I will keep him happy all the times and support him in everything he does," Ullrich said.

The pair will be in Fiji throughout the weekend.
