MoU to create awareness on child abuse

Update: 4:05PM A MEMORANDUM of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen advertising and create more awareness on the prevention of child abuse and neglect in Fiji was signed last Friday by the Child Services Unit under the Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation and Go Advertising Limited.

The MoU covers areas of cooperation between the Ministry and Go Advertising which enables the team to create awareness via billboards, which is anticipated to reduce the percentage rate of Child Abuse and Neglect in Fiji. 

Permanent Secretary for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Josefa Koroivueta who signed the MoU with the Director for Go Advertising Mr Charles Daniel Lum Go Advertising for the services provided by the organisation to the Ministry and said the ministry looks forward to more collaboration under the MoU.

Mr Lum thanked the Ministry for choosing Go Advertising to assist towards this awareness and also congratulated the Ministry for this great initiative.

"We are very proud to be associated in delivering the message which we strongly support and believe in to all Fijians throughout Fiji", Mr Lum said.

Go Advertising is known for their prime location billboards around the country.
