FIJI international and Stade Français centre Waisea Nayacalevu crossed the whitewash yesterday, but Edinburgh, which used Olympian and gold medallist Viliame Mata at the back of the scrum made sure that they finished as one of the best in Pool 4 of the Challenge Cup after battling to a narrow 34-33 victory over the France-based club, Planet Rugby reported.

Nayacalevu scored their team's last try but could not help his side proceed to the Challenge Cup quarter-finals.

Also yesterday Fiji Airways Flying Fijians skipper Akapusi Qera scored a try for Agen in their clash against Gloucester who booked their spot in the last eight of Europe's second-tier competition after dominant 45-24 triumph over the France-based club.

Former Lelean Memorial School student Pio Muarua was named in the Agen reserves.

Meanwhile, tomorrow, four Champions Cup games take place.

Isa Nacewa and his side Leinster will take on Glasgow which named Nikola Matawalu on the wing. For Toulon they named another Olympian and gold medallist in their run-on side Josua Tuisova when they take on Benetton. Semi Radradra was named on the bench. Racing 92 will have France strongman Virimi Vakatawa, off-load king Leone Nakarawa while Joe Rokocoko was named in the reserves to host Munster.
