FIJI Flight Attendant Trades Union president Joe McGowan says yesterday's march in Nadi for Air Terminal Services workers was a success for all unions.

He said the show of support was a clear indication of unity among people.

"For us, the Fiji Airways flight attendants that are part of the Fiji Flight Attendant Trades Union, it's important that we are part of these kinds of things," he said.

"If we are unionised, we support union action. We support any union that is trying to fight to improve working conditions for their workers.

"I think what the ATS workers are fighting for is just."

He said the turnout for ATS workers was encouraging.

"I think it should not be underestimated that there are just more than 200 people who are locked out at the moment."
