Operation Yalodei is still underway: Tudravu

Saturday, January 13, 2018

Update: 4:57PM A MARCH of a group of police officers through Nadi Town this morning confounded people who had turned up to participate in a Fiji Trades Union Congress organised march in support of Air Terminal Services workers.

Police Chief Operations Officer ACP Rusiate Tudravu said the police presence was because of festive season operations and also because of the ATS event.

"Operation Yalodei is still underway so this is all part of normal operations," he said.

"As for security in general for the march we have also factored in and are very mindful of the fact that it is a busy day in Nadi and we have families who will be coming to town to conduct their back to school shopping."
