IT'S something that she will remember for the rest of her life.
Emi Ashria Reddy, 9, couldn't believe her eyes when she received a package in their mailbox. It was a letter from the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump.
Emi had sent a handwritten letter to the US President a few months ago after seeing so many negative reports about him in the news.
In her letter, Emi introduced herself and told him that the only two things that she prayed for was to make it into their school gymnastics team and secondly, for God's protection on Mr Trump.
"We didn't expect a reply," said Emi's mum Elvira Reddy.
"Of all the thousands of mail he must have received, we had a reply with his handwritten signature on it. We were indeed excited."
The family, which hails from Nadi, has been living in the US for the past 20 years but often travel to Fiji on holidays.
Mrs Reddy says the idea of sending a letter to President Trump came about after Emi's consistency "in always never forsaking to pray for Mr Trump every night".
"We wanted to let him know that despite the backlash from some citizens and political leaders, a nine-year-old-girl has his back covered with prayers."
In reply, Mr Trump thanked Emi for her "thoughtful letter and prayers".
"With your faith and determination, I have no doubt you can do anything to which you set your mind. Think big and dream even bigger!"
So what was her message to the US President, we asked?
"For him to remain strong and be aware that not many people dislike him. I think he's smart and I like him," said Emi, who is a fourth grader at Wildwood Elementary School in Washington State. According to the official White House website, thousands of letters and faxs often arrive for the US President and only 10 are chosen per day for the president to read and respond to.
