The spirit of Christmas

PROUDS Nadi has taken Christmas decoration to a new level when it lit up the exterior of its store with a spectacular light display never before seen.

The new dimension to Christmas lighting brought smiles to the faces of onlookers as it added to the festive mood of the Jetset Town.

Motibhai Group manager public relations Shalendra Prasad said staff members worked round-the-clock for two nights to put up the lights.

"The company is happy to uplift the spirits of people," he said.

"There was a significant investment made by the company to purchase and put up the lights.

"The lighting was supposed to be held in line with Nadi being declared a city, but because that was delayed we decided to continue with our Christmas tree lighting."

Store manager Camari Rusaqoli said Christmas was all about enlightenment.

She said they hoped the lights would be enough to attract customers to the Prouds premium store.

"This is the first time a lot of people were seeing something like this," she said.

When people are happy we are happy and we have Christmas specials that will help make Christmas more enjoyable."

"We wish everyone a Merry Christmas."
