POLICE will not release the post-mortem examination results of the late Reverend Esala Nasaroa.

Mr Nasaroa died after his vehicle veered off the road before it landed in a culvert along the Labasa-Nabouwalu highway on Wednesday.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said she could only confirm that the post-mortem examination had been conducted.

"I am not at liberty to be divulging the results of the examination," she said.

"However, his death is classified as a fatal accident."

Mr Nasaroa was due to return to his village of Lekutulevu in Cakaudrove on Thursday.
