Lautoka

The Lautoka Golf Club will host the Longrun (Fiji)-sponsored 18 holes Individual stroke event on Saturday.

Tee-off: 12.15pm - 1.15pm. Starters - Suren Pillay / Gaffar Ali. Cards - Dr. Vimal Murthi / Manwal Kumar. Match - Roneel Prakash/ Raymond Singh.Prize presentation - Ram Reddy/ Sesh Rao. Prizes - overall, A,B,C, Juniors and Beginners. Strictly no late entries accepted.

On Sunday all club championship semi-finals are to be completed. A- grade - Gaffar Ali vs Suren Pillay, James Krishna vs Zabir Ali, B- grade - Abdul Jalal vs Lawrence Benjamin, Papi Singh vs Senitiki Cakau. C- grade - Arvind Pillay vs Steven Leger, Alex Qiokata vs Derrick Giblin.

Nasinu Rugby Union

All Wallson Nasinu U20 this year (2017) who are eligible again next year to defend the Vodafone U20 Cup and anyone who is interested in joining the Nasinu U20 are to meet outside the FRU HPU Gym today (8/12/17) at 4pm. Contact Viliame Turagavou (coach) 8091402.

Rugby Academy Fiji

Rugby Academy Fiji will be conducting a combined clinic for young rugby players. The team will be conducting a combined session for U15 to U23 players.

The coaching clinic will include modules on contact area and the breakdown, vision and decision drills, kick, run, pass skills, the tackle and defence work, handling, basic tactical patterns and game scenarios, physical testing.

Coaches are welcome to observe, upskill, and join in coaching the modules. Suva Location: USP Ground 1 today. Admission is free Lautoka & Suva. Nakavika Invitation 7s

Uro Kadavu 7s

Botenaulu Rangers 7s

The Botenaulu Rangers rugby and netball tournaments will be held at Muaira District School ground in Lutu, Wainimala, Naitasiri today and tomorrow. First 32 rugby teams to pay their registration fees of $300 and 16 netball teams to pay their $100 registration fees will be accommodated. Prizemoney: Winner: $3000 while the runner-up will get $1500 in rugby. Netball winner will receive $500 and runner-up: $250. Kingsmen Volleyball Club

The Kingsmen Volleyball Club will be hosting a mini-tournament at the Blue Gas Eagles Nest in Raiwai tomorrow (December 9). The first registered 16 men's teams will be accommodated. Entry fees are $30.
