Treat for pageant beauties

A TRIP to the Tifa Jek Mud Pools in Sabeto and then a visit to the Jet Set Town of Nadi for shopping.

This is what is in store today for the nine contestants vying for the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant 2017 crown before they take to the stage at Prince Charles Park for the traditionally-inspired attire judging event tonight.

No doubt the nine beauties, Miss American Samoa Matauaina Gwendolyn To'omalatai, Miss Cook Islands Enerstina Pokuia Bonsu-Maro, Miss Nauru Tansy Itsimaera, Miss Papua New Guinea Niawali Anastasia Twain, Miss Rapa Nui Tiare Pakarati, Miss Samoa Alexandra Iakopo, Miss Solomon Islands Emily Chan, Miss Tonga Ophelia Kitiliti Kava and Miss Fiji Hally Qaqa, will have a bundle of nerves as the competition heats up in preparation for the announcement of Miss Pacific Islands 2017 tomorrow night.

The organising committee is urging all Fijians in the Western Division to turn out in large numbers to support the nine contestants tonight and also for the float procession at 1pm tomorrow and crowning at Prince Charles Park at 7.30pm Saturday.
