THE Tovu Village Women's Club, made up of women from Totoya in the Lau Group based in Suva, showcased their mat-weaving and handicraft skills at a showcase at the Fiji Museum in Suva last Friday.

Ruci Niulevu, the deputy leader of women's group, said this year they also held their annual break-up party together with the annual showcase event.

"We have members also competing by entering their finished products (mats) in a competition and an independent judge, Losalini Taoi, was invited to judge the best mats woven in different categories," Ms Niulevu said.
