FIJIAN supporters will march through Wellington today to show their support for the Vodafone Fiji Bati.

Fans will gather at the Civic Square in Wellington where they will march from to the stadium before 6pm for kick off at 7.30pm. Most fans are expected to arrive tomorrow from Auckland, Christchurch and other parts of New Zealand. Jarryd Hayne said Tonga's success had been also because of the passion of her fans.

"In the islands, they really look up to us to do the impossible," Hayne said.

"It is a privilege and an honour to be part of the Fiji Bati. Anyone who has ever been in the Fiji Bati will tell you that. NRL players lose money when you come and play for your island nation. Everyone loves it, everyone enjoys it, everyone would do it within a heartbeat."

The Vodafone Fiji Bati team had their captain's run at the Westpac Stadium yesterday morning. The temperature today is forecast to be 14 degrees Celsius and expected to drop to 10 degrees Celsius in the evening.

"We have come from Canberra and we are ready for it," coach Mick Potter said.

Hayne said Fiji needed to play the same way as Tonga last week, never gave up and being there for the full 80 minutes of the game. He rated the Kiwi's halves and forward pack to be the side's strengths.

"The way they play … it's up to us to match them in every area, to put our faith into action," Hayne said.

Captain Kevin Naiqama said this was Fiji's biggest test in the tournament.

"We have done our research and it is going to be an exciting game," Naiqama said.
