Fiji Day: Vunidawa District holds inaugural celebration

Update: 4:31PM FOR the first time, the Fiji Day celebration was held at Vunidawa District School in Naitasiri.

Fiji's Assistant Minister for Agriculture, Rural and Maritime Development and Natural Disaster Management Joeli Cawaki who officiated at the Central Division celebrations this morning thanked every Fijian for their contributions in making Fiji what it is today.

He said the Government was working to progress Fiji into the future.

"Your government is working to make your Fiji a better place for every Fijian and I thank each and every one of you for your contributions through the years in making Fiji what it is today," Mr Cawaki said.
