Update: 6:09PM CARDHOLDERS for eTransport will now be able to call the toll-free number 151 to lodge issues and complaints regarding e-ticketing.

This was confirmed by the Acting Prime Minister and Attorney-General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum at a press conference in Suva.

He announced the establishment of a toll-free number for complaints on electronic-ticketing and that all Vodafone, Digicel and Telecom Fiji Limited users can call the toll-free number 24/7 for free to lodge their complaints.

Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said if a passenger is overcharged, he or she can take the bus fare receipt to any Vodafone outlet and get a reimbursement.

He urged the Fiji Bus Operators Association to ensure that drivers also followed the correct procedure when charging bus fares.
