E-Ticketing: 40 machines damaged; A-G alleges sabotage

Update: 5:42PM FORTY eTransport machines have been tampered with and damaged.

Fiji's Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said this was confirmed by Vodafone Fiji who is a stakeholder in the eTransport initiative.

"People had gone and actually deliberately damaging physically these machines," Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said.

He said there had been opportunities created by people to sabotage this eTransport system that had been put in place.
