Medical students stage 2017 cultural night

Update: 3:48PM EXPECT a night of Pacific entertainment filled with fun and excitement this Saturday at the Vodafone Arena in Suva where the Fiji School Medicine Students Association (FSMSA) cultural night will be held.

FSMSA social and cultural chairperson 2017 Simran Ali said the cultural night was based on Pacific folk tales.

"We have 13 of the different Pacific islands cultural associations within FSM," Miss Ali said.

"All their performances are based on a myth or legend that is from their country."

Meanwhile, cultural night honorary committee member and MBBS Year 5 student Raynold Waisele said the main theme for the night would be 'Burotukula'.

Approximately 300 medical students will be performing on the night.

Miss Ali also acknowledged the support of their major sponsor, the Fiji National University Student Association (FNUSA), media partner - Today FM and minor sponsors - Fiji Women's Crisis Centre (FWCC) and Formscaff (Fiji) Ltd.

Ticket prices:

$8 adult grandstand

$5 child grandstand

$50 VIP in front of the stage ( food and alcohol)
