Water sport operator masters game fishing sector

SINCE undergoing a major restructure in July last year, Adrenalin Fiji has refined the specialised activities it offers from the Port Denarau Marina, Nadi, over the past 12 months.

The water sports operators have mastered the game fishing sector, specifically for travellers looking for an adrenalin driven experience.

Adrenalin Fiji sales and operations executive Finau Fanifau said despite vacating the bases it had at some resorts, the activities were still in demand.

"Even though we have departed from the resorts, we still have returnees who come out of their way looking for us," she said.

"They come out looking for the activities that we offer, which are the day cruises, game fishing and even our jet ski safaris.

"We are now based at the Port Denarau Marina and all of our customers come out here to access our services."

She said locals were also customers to the exclusive services.

"For our local market, we usually get people who are celebrating something like birthdays or anniversaries.

"Our Bel'Mare day cruise is a special seven day package that our guests like too."

She said the game fishing packages were a popular activity among guests.

"We take our guests out to the Malolo Group and there we usually take them to some very popular fishing spots including some near Tavarua Island.

"Guests also get to get off the boat, do their swimming and snorkeling and all of our boat crew are well trained professionals who will look after our guests as soon as they board one of our vessels."

She said their main markets were New Zealand and Australian tourists.
